Minimum 1 day a month

Days:

As a volunteer minibus driver you will be supporting the work of our outdoor centres helping transport children and young people to and from activities, such as off site caving, sailing and climbing. We are looking for friendly people who have a D1 entitlement on their driving licence and are happy to complete minibus and first aid training.

Further information

In this role you will help support young people and learners who visit our Outdoor Centres. The visits children have at our centres are often one of the most memorable educational experiences they have during the academic year and we are constantly striving to make the most of these opportunities for all the young people we work with.

A D1 entitlement on a driving licence is essential. We also ask all volunteers to complete our safeguarding training and undertake an enhanced DBS check. We provide further minibus training, first aid training and basic training to work effectively with young people. To put people through their minibus and first aid training we are looking for a commitment of at least one day a month.
